Grimm Reading (click on title) →
Perhaps ‘Tragic Life Stories’ should be filed under ‘Grimm’. At least ‘The Frog Princess’ (on the left of the shelf) seemed to be something a little lighter to begin with, but it starts out describing a life in Grimsby - believe it or not. A nice photo (sadly not mine)!

Time for a pic-a-nic snap Boo-Boo? →
Never sure about the idea of brightly coloured cameras . They are maybe OK for photographing family/loved ones, but a little too conspicuous otherwise. Now a tasteful brown one, different from ubiqitous black or cosmic sprinkle dust silver and quite subtle, especially in woods, and pared down to the bear essentials. I wonder in which country it was designed??

Strange co-incidence?
Sitting in an almost empty pub which had sold all of its guest beer the previous evening, a cover version (one of many?) of Hallelujah! came on the ‘jukebox’. The following day somewhere near www.rockinchina.com I found this link, somewhat by accident? http://www.leonardcohenfiles.com/bl-chinese.html Humble, humourous, respectful, and nicely put too. Maybe a small illumination rather...
